The figs are just going over now. This variety is called Brown Turkey. We made kilos and kilos of jam this year. The flowers are a variety of Hibiscus called syriacus 'Hamabo', a smallish tree a.k.a. Rose of Sharon. The pretty handwoven rug is a new find. It looks old I found it at a local sale table. I think it might be a persian kelim, which is a flat weave in natural died wool. @ Cathy, Do you have a garden? They are very easy to grow.As long as you can keep the greedy birds away :-)

Beautiful figs - so yummy!
Hey Girl Friend,
And the evergreen is........! Looks like Thuja or what we call Arborvitae, great fruit on it. Tom The Backroads Traveller
A beautiful photo. Have a great weekend!
Your photos are awesome. I'm not sure I've ever eaten a fig. The flowers are just gorgeous.
