WHITE ROSE

Found in a little antique treasure house in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire.
Looks like a candlestick, the kind you take up to your bedroom when the lights don't work, or rather didn't, in the 18th century.

The soft and subtle painting of the flowers on the candlestick are my favorite colors. Such a beautiful combination with the flower, side by side. The texture on the flower gives the whole picture a linen-look (this would make a great print). From the looks of your Friday Finds, I'd like to go shopping with you! Thanks so much for sharing.
